Since December 2020, when The ____________ Line launched, we’ve been quietly demonstrating sustainable fashion with our singular article of clothing, the Little Black Smart Dress
8 dot points constitute our paradigm and form a line (inspired by signing on the dotted line) that when completed forms true circularity
These are :
- A classic dress design - with durable activewear construction / comfort for everyday wear that dresses up easily with heels for an evening
- Non-virgin fabric - yarn created from plastic water bottle waste - a luxurious heavy weight stretch developed for longevity
- Made to order + in small batches, ethically + locally with a team of 1 cutter and 2 seamstresses.
- An Agreement at purchase between wearer + manufacturer — to return to remanufacture at end of life — in this way avoiding landfill or incineration
- Allocated to wearer / provenance digitally tagged (seamlessly) in the seam of the dress itself, endorsing responsibility
- Worn confidently for a long life
- Return to manufacturer at end of life (wearer)
- Repair deconstruct + remanufacture (manufacturer)
